The Sussex sharks are backing a campaign to urge men to check for signs of prostate cancer.
The Take the Test campaign is being run by the British Prostate Centre, which has clinics in Brighton, Haywards Heath, Gatwick and East Grinstead.
Members of the team, who recently won the Pro-40 cricket league, gathered at the Sussex County Cricket Club ground in Hove to highlight the increased risk of prostate cancer for those with a history of the disease.
British Prostate Centre spokesman Tim Larner said: "If you have a family member who has been diagnosed with prostate cancer then you should take the test. See your GP or a specialist who can undertake a simple text."
Consultant urologist Paul Miller said: "This campaign is not designed to panic men and their families. However, it is important for men to be prostate aware, especially those who may be at increased risk."
